Original Colorful Paintings on White Background

The question of using a white or a black background for fine art on line was settled in my mind soon after posting that blog post. I switched back to white background on Fine Art America, my website, and other venues. I guess I'm still showing the traditional watercolorist in me after conforming to show competitions that required white mats.

One person when viewing the FAA website black background said it was confusing to come to that from a link on my website where the background is white. People would wonder if they clicked the wrong button and ended up in a different place than intended. I never thought of that consideration. For the sake of continuity, all my fine art is on a white background for now.
